Now I want to build a statistic to count the number of hands played between SB and BB in a 3-max game when BTN folds preflop.

I want the stats to only count hands in which:

Hero is on SB,
BTN folded,
The action is strictly between SB and BB.
I would really appreciate it if someone could tell me the best approach to create this statistic, including the necessary columns and expressions.
Can you tell me the right solution?

sum(if[tourney_hand_player_statistics.position = 8 and             
       tourney_hand_summary.cnt_players = 3 and
       tourney_hand_summary.str_actors_p LIKE '9%' and
       tourney_hand_player_statistics.id_hand > 0, 1, 0])

That's fine although there is nothing there that specifies Hero is on the SB. To do that you will need a subquery which you have previously done on a similar stat.
