Different color on note icon

Hi guys,
whenever you take on note on somebody the little note icon on your hud gets a yellow border. This also happens when PT4 auto-notes a player. The problem is that after 10 minutes of play every player has at least one "auto-note" and I can no longer tell which players I've personally added a note to without opening the actual notes.

Would it be possible for the icon to turn a different color when a manually entered note is present? Perhaps show yellow with auto-notes, red with manually entered notes and some combination of the two if both are present?

In the meantime you can assign colors to players via the color box in the note editor - if you do that, the entire HUD group will get a border for them and the HUD icon will change color. If you use these judiciously they can be much more powerful than just the little border around the note editor.

Yep, here you go.

This functionality can be turned on or off in the Hud -> Edit Hud Options -> General Settings -> Advanced area in the Hud Display options box (it's called Outline Groups With Player Color).

Can the note editor colors be assigned by the value of custom stats? I find that the FTP Notes colors are small and this border would be an ideal replacement.

This color can only be assigned manually at this time.

FWIW we have a request in our system to add an indication whether you have manual, auto, or both types of notes on a player, but I don't yet have a timescale for that to be added.

Considering that PokerStars probably is the only site with a notes color system, surprised that more requests havn't been made for this.

BTW I just doubled the size of the FTP notes on the FTP tables so that helped out alot. Still would like the color border feature of PT4 when / if it becomes a option.

NoteTracker notes are indicated with a yellow box around the note icon, but that's the only automatic indicator we have at this time.
