PT4 EXTREMELY SLOW PLEASE HELP

Postby LogicaL » Wed Sep 10, 2025 7:21 am

Hello
First of all my pc its running 100%, no problems with poker rooms, chrome, i can run games, and for the most part until 2 weeks aprox poker tracker always run good.

Since August 24 i started to play club GG, first i import a database and made a mistake because later i figure it out that it weights 15GB
When poker tracker tracks my club gg hands, is in the HH POKER FORMAT.

Until now i have been playing ipoker, bodog and other rooms with no problem at all, club gg is the only that gave me this scenario.

Recently i delete the 15GB database and i was willing to start again, but even after updates, poker tracker keeps slow, i want to open an option and it goes to white screen (no response), it takes like 20 seconds to change from results to graphs, and every process its extremely slow, even when i update to the latest version, and erase de 15gb database, so i dont know what to do to get the speed back.

I would be thankful if you guys can help me

** I DONT KNOW IF MAYBE THE PROBLEM ITS RELATED TO THE HAND CONVERTER ASIAN, I DONT REALLY KNOW BUT THIS IS MY SCREEN ALMOST LIKE 5 SECONDS

That could be a configuration issue or a database/PostgreSQL issue. Go to 'Database -> Database Management'. Click the 'Housekeeping' button and run the following in this order:

1. Tune PostgreSQL (this only needs to be completed once ever. If this step fails, you can safely skip to step #2)
2. Reindex
3. Cluster
4. Vacuum/Analyze

After the housekeeping is complete rebuild the database cache via 'Rebuild Cache -> Full Cache Rebuild'. If that doesn't resolve the problem please turn on 'Enable Logging' in PokerTracker 4 via 'Configure -> Options' and then restart PokerTracker 4. Next reproduce this issue, take a screenshot and then create a support bundle via the 'File -> Create Support Bundle' menu option in PokerTracker 4. When that file has been saved attach your screenshot and support bundle to a Support Ticket where a technician can review your logs and advise you accordingly:

Tutorial: Reporting A Problem

Please note that if PokerTracker 4 is not responsive and you cannot create a support bundle then you will need to manually grab your log file from here BEFORE restarting PokerTracker 4:

C:\Users\{Windows Login}\AppData\Local\PokerTracker 4\Logs\PokerTracker4.log

To access the log file open File Explorer in Windows and enter the following in the address bar:

%localappdata%\PokerTracker 4\Logs

The file we need will be the text file called 'PokerTracker4' or 'PokerTracker4.log' that is in that folder. Every time you close/restart PokerTracker 4 it will begin a new log so you'll need to save that PokerTracker4.log file before restarting PokerTracker 4 again.
