HUD issues on iPoker (fortuna poker skin)

Postby Alficor1 » Fri Jul 25, 2025 3:18 pm

hey,
i recently bought a new PC with windows 11 pro, and i have issues with the hud during sessions. when i start playing, the hud works fine, but once i bust and reenter a tournament, HUD no longer shows up for that specific tourney, so i restart PT4 and it comes back. however after a couple of times of doing this during the session, the hud stops working for more and more tables and sometimes just doesnt work for any tables anymore. also, the PT4 tends to freeze a lot during these restarts. on my previous computer, which had windows 10 and had much weaker performance, this didnt happen at all. is there anything i can do to fix this?

(these are my PC specifications fwiw: Intel® Core™ i5-8400 Processor (9M Cache, 6×2.80/4.00 GHz), 32 GB DDR4, 1000 GB SSD M.2 NVMe, Intel® UHD Graphics 630.)

thank you for your answers!

Please check your PokerTracker 4 iPoker import settings which should be:

C:\Users\{Windows Login}\AppData\Local\{iPoker Client Name}\data\{iPoker Screenname}\History\Data

If PokerTracker 4 is configured to import from anything higher than the second 'Data' folder then that can cause performance issues. If that's not the problem and you don't have a large database then go to 'Database -> Database Management'. Click the 'Housekeeping' button and run the following in this order:

1. Tune PostgreSQL (this only needs to be completed once ever. If this step fails, you can safely skip to step #2)
2. Reindex
3. Cluster
4. Vacuum/Analyze

After the housekeeping is complete rebuild the database cache via 'Rebuild Cache -> Full Cache Rebuild'.

If that doesn't resolve the problem please turn on 'Enable Logging' in PokerTracker 4 via 'Configure -> Options' and then restart PokerTracker 4. Next reproduce this issue, take a screenshot of your desktop and then create a support bundle via the 'File -> Create Support Bundle' menu option in PokerTracker 4. When that file has been saved attach your screenshot and support bundle to a Support Ticket where a technician can follow up with you.
