Hi,
installed wanna try trail.
Postreg problem, cant write database.
Followed instructions, does not work.

Why does PT4 not intall postreg like HM2 does it.

Hello, running the PokerTracker 4 installer downloaded from the website should prompt you to install PostgreSQL, and there shouldn't be any issues making a new database.

Please post a screenshot of the error you are getting.

Note that if you are using a very old PostgreSQL version such as v8.4, which reached its end-of-life in 2014, that this is now below the minimum required version for PokerTracker 4. If that applies to you then to fix the issue you will need to install and use PostgreSQL version v16 instead - see this guide:
