PT4 not working after 888 update

888 update today and after the update the pt4 (v4.18.15) are not import hands and show errors.

So we can take a look at that can you please attach this sample of hands to a Support Ticket. Thank you.

I can't upgrade past 4.18.7. Does this mean I'll never be able to use pokertracker again on 888 without paying to upgrade further?

You will need to renew your Annual Support & Maintenance plan so you can update PokerTracker 4 to the latest version and import hands from the new 888Poker client.

Unfortunately that error indicates the database is damaged so if you create a new database that should allow you to start using PokerTracker 4 again. To attempt to fix the original database you can reindex your database by going to 'Database -> Database Management'. Select the affected database then click 'Housekeeping -> Reindex'. After the housekeeping is complete rebuild the database cache via 'Rebuild Cache -> Full Cache Rebuild'.

The initial update resolved the issue with the new hand histories from the 888Poker client update however we are seeing some different examples where hand histories are missing important information so please check them with a text editor such as Notepad. The only examples I am aware of at this time are from 888.pt where the last line of each hand history is written like this:

Where the player name is written it should contain the amount collected by the player in the game currency which would look like this in a valid hand history:

Hero collected [ 0,50 € ]

If that is the case with your hand histories you should contact 888 so they can fix this issue in their hand histories. Also in the past there was an intermittent issue with 888 hand histories and reinstalling the 888Poker client resolved that so it could write valid hands again so you could try that and see if that fixes it.

If your 888 hands have the issue described in my previous post then they will not import into any version of PokerTracker 4. If you're not sure about your own 888 hands then please attach a sample to a Support Ticket and we can let you know what version of PokerTracker 4 they would be compatible with.
