switching comps

Hi, I have switched computers for the third time now and i am aware that you are only allowed two registration codes. What are my options as to not losing everything in my current poker tracker database and moving that onto a new computer?

This is in the tutorial link you sent me. How do you go about doing this? I have identified the mdb files and backed them up, but I don't know how to get them into the trial version (or registered version for that mater). Let me know.

burn the files onto a CD/DVD (or some other form of media capable or handling these size of files) - put that media into the new computer and copy them into the c:\program files\poker tracker v2 folder of the new computer.

ok i got all the information on the new computer. my one problem now is whenever i open up PT2 or HUD I get this message : Database C:\ Program Files (x86)\ PokerTracker V2\ptrack.mdb needs to be repaired. I click ok and then it sends me the message INVALID ARGUMENT . Then HUD gives me this message at the end

SQL Connection Exception: Failed to connect to datasource: [Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] Cannot open database '(unknown)'. It may not be a database that your application recognizes, or the file may be corrupt.

The message is the same when I try to open up pokertracker as well.

With PT closed...

1. Go to the Start > Settings > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > ODBC Data Sources window.

2. On the window that opens, click the System DSN tab.

3. Click on the entry PTRACK and click the "Configure..." button.

4. Click the "Repair..." button on the next window.

5. On the next window that pops up, click ok.

I am not getting that option when I get to that part of it. When I click on the tab, theres nothing in there. And when i click on ADD, it doesnt give me any options either.

Are you using Vista? You need to reinstall PT2, this time, you need to do it as administrator. Download the install EXE file, right-click on it and select "Run as administrator". Then you should see the entry there.
