Large number of readed hands during import.

Postby Lyes » Tue Mar 04, 2008 2:29 am

Hi, and first of all, congrats making this nice new forum:)

After using PT for a while my PT seem to read EVERY hand it has earlier imported.. Is this normal?

etc..

Success - The import was a success! - 184 file(s) read - 0 new hand(s) were imported.
Importing file 1 of 1, please wait...
Starting import...
Concatenating 177 hand history logs into 1 large file...
Scanning for hand history log files...control.log
Timer fired...03/04/2008 07:23:23 AM
Success - The import was a success! - 167 file(s) read - 0 new hand(s) were imported.

( Im sitting out atm on the tables, so it should not import any new hands)

But why is the PT reading each and every hand each time the timer fires?

I have created "Move processed files to the following folder" - C:/ PROGRAM FILES/HANDHISTORY

But my PT seem to read more and more hands while im playing, and this is slowing down the CPU.

I would be very thankful if anyone knows what im doing wrong in this case.

What version of PT?
Are you using Vista?
Are you playing other types of games than Hold'em?
Can you check the processed files folder and see if any recent files are put there by PT?

I installed the PT yesterday so I havet played many hands yet. It seems like the PT reads through every hand i played for the last session... Have a total of 2k hands since i istalled PT.

Any clue what I have to do , so PT dont uses so much cpu in the future reading hands?

The processed folder should contain .log files if you are playing at a Crypto site. Are you sure you have the "Move processed files" option selected on the auto-import window?

Open the Crypto auto-import window, click the Enable Logging box and then click Force Import.
After it runs, click the View Log link on that window and copy/paste the text of the log file into a reply.

Go to this folder....

C:\Program Files\Betsafe Poker\log\DH03923288\2008030323371062\

Do you see any .log files in this folder? If so, open one of them. Does it contain a full hand history? Post the text from one of these files.

When i open the folder is showing 3 maps they are all three named by alot of mumbers. And there is a control text document there, when i open that one :
<SESSION ID="2008030323371062" STARTTIME="1204583946" ENDTIME=""/>
<SESSION ID="2008030401250406" STARTTIME="1204587614" ENDTIME=""/>
<SESSION ID="2008030453838406" STARTTIME="1204605602" ENDTIME=""/>

When i open one of the 3 other maps its alot of txt files, and they are all empty..!
Control log contains alot of this :

<HAND ID="5653202493" STARTTIME="1204605602" ENDTIME="ENDTIME" GID="106" TID="21323" TNAME="Fish" TLB="500" THB="1000" STTM="50200" CUR="USD" TYCOST="0" TYFEE="0" SPEEDTYPE="0" TYCUR="" TYNAME="" TYID="" GAMETYPE="NL" GNAME="Hold'em" SMALLB="200" TOURNAMENT="NO" BET="$2/$5" W="1" SST="50000" POTS="400" WINNER="SkMagic" BCDS="" UCDS="19,27"/>
<HAND ID="5653202513" STARTTIME="1204605622" ENDTIME="ENDTIME" GID="106" TID="21323" TNAME="Fish" TLB="500" THB="1000" STTM="50000" CUR="USD" TYCOST="0" TYFEE="0" SPEEDTYPE="0" TYCUR="" TYNAME="" TYID="" GAMETYPE="NL" GNAME="Hold'em" SMALLB="200" TOURNAMENT="NO" BET="$2/$5" W="0" SST="50200" POTS="400" WINNER="pokherob1" BCDS="" UCDS="34,28"/>

The strange thing is that all of those 3 maps contains ALOT of txt files, and they are all empty...

PT doesn't attemp to look at any text files when importing, only .log files and not the control.log file. There should be files named 123456789.log (or possibly 123456789_s.log) in that folder or some other sub-folders where 123456789 is the game number associated with the file. Do you see any files like this at all?

No, the only files in this folder is what i wrote in the latest post.

I open C:\Program Files\Betsafe Poker\log\DH03923288\2008030323371062\ and it contains 3 maps ( which contains alot of text documents who all are empty one are named 2008030323371062 and the 2 others almost similar) and one control log, txt doc.

ZIP the contents of the entire C:\Program Files\Betsafe Poker\log\ folder.

Use the new support system to send me a support ticket and attach that ZIP file (as long as it's less than 5mb) and I will look at it.
Here is a link to the support system...
