Poker Ace Hud Error!

Postby Scorpi13 » Tue Jan 06, 2009 9:50 pm

That's the headline and the error code is ginormous ... It starts:

'Unable to update cache. Error executing "SELECT gp.player_id, g.game_level_id. g.number_of_players, count(gp.game_id), .... and it goes on and on and on ...

Help.

thx

Please make sure you have the latest PAH version 1.19.10.

With PAH not running, delete the 2 cache files. C:\Program Files\PokerAce Hud\Data\Temp\DBCachexxx.*
Then restart PAH and this will force a full rebuild of the cache.
If that doesn't work, use the 'repair database' option in PT2 Utilities menu and try again.

I do have 1.19.10 .... I could only find one dbcache file and I did delete that. No change. I have an postgres db so the repair command doesn't do anything. Still have the same issue.

What version of PostgreSQL are you using? PokerAce Hud does not yet support PostgreSQL 8.3.x and the database cache will not work. You will either need to:
1. Revert back to PostgreSQL 8.2.9 (the latest supported version)
2. Temporarily disable your database cache until we are able to get 8.3.x supported. Options->Preferences->Databases, uncheck 'Use Database Cache'.

If you have 8.2, Please enable logging, reproduce the problem, and send the PAHud.log file via the Support system so that we can review your configurations and troubleshoot the issue.
