Another question: how do you identify a tournament type in the PT3 database? I know there's id_tourney_type, id_table_type and buy-ins. But what about the number of entrants? Most of my games are different types of SNG's(no rebuys nor add-ons) but the cnt_players in tourney_holdem_summary are totally random. Maybe 5 correct values over 500 rows. So where does this value come from? This mess confuses me.

Unless you play at a site which provides tournament summaries the only players that PT3 knows about are those that you played hands against during the tournament, so that will be the value you see.
