Flop check opportunity

Postby andrenalina » Fri Oct 29, 2010 1:28 am

How can I construct a column that counts the number of times the player has the opportunity of check the flop. Its because I want to construct statistics separatelly in the cases where the player can check or bet and the cases where he can fold, call or raise. I thought

sum(if[NOT (holdem_hand_player_statistics.flg_f_bet_def_opp) AND NOT (holdem_hand_player_statistics.flg_f_raise_def_opp), 1, 0])

but didnt work, an error occured. What can I do?

When we make the HUD the stats that we use is that one for Holdem, right? If not, how can I select Omaha Stats?

You want:

sum(if[holdem_hand_player_detail.flg_f_open_opp, 1, 0])

You only have a chance to check if you also had a chance to open the pot.

Nice, man! So

sum(if[holdem_hand_player_detail.flg_f_open_opp, 1, 0])

will count the times that It came to me checked, right? So if we construct the column

sum(if[holdem_hand_player_detail.flg_f_open_opp AND holdem_hand_player_statistics.flg_f_check, 1, 0])

and divide this by the later it will show the times the player checked per times he had the opportunity to do it? The same for

sum(if[holdem_hand_player_detail.flg_f_open_opp AND holdem_hand_player_statistics.flg_b_check, 1, 0])

resultin in the times the player bet when had the opportunity to check. Is that right?

Another doubt, I dont know if you told me last time I talked to you but I would like to know if when we count the bets, the raises are included? Lets say somebody bet and I raise, for me its counted like a bet?

A bet is when you or someone else opens, a raise is when the opening is, well, raised.

So, they are different and I would think counted separately as two separate events.

Doco is correct - bets are just bets. Raises are distinct. Look at how the cnt_f_bet and cnt_f_raise columns are constructed.

Also,

sum(if[holdem_hand_player_detail.flg_f_open_opp AND holdem_hand_player_statistics.flg_b_check, 1, 0])

won't work - you already have cnt_f_bet, you might as well just use that. You can only bet when nobody has opened the pot, so it's always an opportunity to check as well.

cnt_f_check is also available by default so you won't need to build that.

Hi, where can I find flg_f_open_opp? It should be on the HCH section, shouldnt it? Its because it appears in the comand you said

sum(if[holdem_hand_player_detail.flg_f_open_opp, 1, 0])

Can I construct a column in the HCPS where we count the number of hands the player had the opportunity to open? This is the same of (cnt_f_check + cnt_flop_bet), right? So should I put (cnt_f_open_opp = cnt_f_check + cnt_flop_bet), but i think its not necessary because I can use the sum.

sum(if[holdem_hand_player_detail.flg_f_open_opp, 1, 0])

..is the column expression you would use in HCPS to count the number of hands where the player had the opportunity to open the action on the flop.
"holdem_hand_player_detail.flg_f_open_opp" is a field in the database.

Have a look at the Tutorial: Custom Reports and Statistics for how to construct columns and stats.
