Hud stats with a FISH at the table

Postby sethseth » Sat Oct 23, 2010 3:12 am

I want to see a player's vpip or raise1st in early/middle/late when there is a fish (guy with 40vpip+) behind him. Is there a way to do this? If it's not possible to use another player's vpip in the stat, can anyone think of a different fish definition that would be make the stat work? I want this because some players raise very wide EP when there is a fish in the blinds, while some players don't notice.

farily sure you cannot do this specifically.

however I was just itt, viewtopic.php?f=18&t=29371#p142929 and if your able to filter hh's to include where both you and a player with a certain player.val_icon = X played together, Theoretically there has to be someway to accomplish what your looking for with autorate, something like combining the standard RFI start with the aforementioned post. ima noob though

I'm actually fairly certain this isn't possible at this point - the definitions for custom statistics can't check the values of other players in the hand in question, regardless of what value you're looking for. But I'll make a note to talk to the developers about this and see if we can work out a way to make this possible for the future.

I am trying to determine what games I should be playing in. For example, I estimate it is better for me to sit in a 2/4nl game with a huge fish than in a 25/50nl game with one kinda bad player. There is some kind of breakeven point, and I can't figure out how far to take this. Should I be game selecting 100nl at the same time as 5knl? How can i determine this?

I'm not sure - even theoretically - how you would determine this without massive numbers of sessions, given the variations between tables, quality of player, their location relative to you, etc.

I would always recommend table selecting, but as to which tables are best for you, that is something that I'm not sure I can help you with.
