Live stats in HUD

Postby talger » Mon Oct 11, 2010 5:03 pm

Hi,

I created 2 new stats for my HUD: one is for stack size in BB for All players: var_live_amt_stack / var_live_amt_bb
The other is the number of players at the table, using var_live_cnt_players in a [table] type Table Averages group

As I saw, the first is shown for the actual hand - therefore I suppose that these variables are calculated for the current hand based on the last hand
However the number of players for the whole table is shown one hand later: if a player is out, it is still counted in the next round.

Is it possible somehow to see the real number of players at every round? If a player is out, it is decreased immediately at the next hand.

It is based on data at the end of the last hand - for players that are eliminated, you're right we should be able to do that, but when players are moved PT3 won't know until the next hand is written.

When a player is moved, it is written in the hand where he/she was moved. In addition at the next hand HUD is still there and shows 0BB for the stack-size - which is also a sign, that he is not there :)

But it means, you calculate the number of players by counting the mentioned players in the actual hand?
In that case is there any other way to see the real number of players at every hand?

PT3 doesn't know anything about a hand that is currently in play - until the hand ends and your poker client writes the data from the previous hand, PT3 doesn't know anything. Once the hand is written and the player is eliminated or moved, his stats should be removed from the table - are you not seeing that?

Of course I see it and understand :)

Just as I saw for example var_live_amt_stack is related for the current hand - I suppose it is calculated from the result of the last hand. That's why I asked, if there is a way also to find out the real number of players of the current hand.
But doesn't matter - it's really not crucial :)

No, it's all based on the last hand - we still only read the hand history files so we don't know anything about the current hand.
