Install using an existing copy of PostgreSQL

Postby tjsnell » Mon Jun 02, 2008 6:08 pm

I already have a copy of PostgreSQL for other stuff on my machine and want to use it. But when PT3 connects to it it's expecting a schema to already exist I think.

"Database 'PT3 DB' is not a valid PokerTracker database."

Did you create a db from within PT3?

I did something similar with a PostgreSQL db running on my Linux server. I ran PT3 and created a db on the Linux server.
