I already have postgreSQL installed on my computer, which i use with PTV2. I downloaded PT3 and installed it, then I went to open it and my password that i used with my pt2 is not working with this. I keep getting this error "unalbe to connect to this database. Please check the configuration".

C:\Program Files\PokerTracker 3\PokerTracker.log, if you installed to default location.

yea i looked there its not there. I have not been able to open the program due to me not being able to get past the postgres window that opens that needs to connect to the postgres server.

It's likely that you are entering incorrect information (user name/password?). Please check the PokerTracker.log file and see what the last few lines say.

I am not sure what you are trying to convey. Are you entering the "different" port number into the window below?
