New to PT3 and PostgreSQL

I have the origonal PT and am using that for my cashgames i dont have the PostgreSQL database and have no idea what it does.What is it? Should i be installing PT3 with it? Ill be using that for Tourneys on stars till it supports all sites

PostgreSQL is the database that PokerTracker 3 uses to store your hands/stats. PT2 by default uses Access (which is slow and outdated), with the option to convert to PostgreSQL.

Since you do not have PostgreSQL installed then you should download the PokerTracker 3 version [bqrh]with[/bqrh] PostgreSQL and on the first PT3 launch, it will walk you through the Postgres installation.
