Hand strength value (holdem_hand_player_combinations)

Postby kyo » Fri Jan 04, 2013 7:27 am

hi,

i am facing a strange issue which i do not understand, hope to find some help here. I am looking at the hand strength values in table holdem_hand_player_combinations. In particular the id_x_hand_strength. When i look at a certain hand i get a value of 1 in column id_f_hand_strength while only flg_f_1pair has the value of 't'. When i join the table to lookup_hands_groups then i would get a straight flush on the flop as a value which is not OK.

Any idea's what could be going wrong here?

Thanks!

The values for hand strength mean different things depending on what is true - they're one thing for one pair, and another for two pair and another for high card and so on. This post outlines what the various values mean.
