PT3 not showing manually imported hands.

I've tried to manually import my whole database of hands into PT3 and though it seemed to download them fine they are not appearing in the software. I just played a few hands and they were auto imported and processed as normal so the software seems to be working.
Is there concise instructions of manual importing of files that I can check to ensure that I have not missed out a key step?
