PT3 shuts down on auto detect

I have just installed the trial version of PT3 for use with pokerstars. It ran okay for about 2-3 hands and then it shut off. Each time I clicked on auto d3etect it shuts off. Is there something i am doing wrong?

That shouldn't be happening but there shouldn't be any auto detect button you need to be pressing while hands are importing - where are you finding this button?

sorry auto import...it runs fine when i import manually

Do you have a lot of hand history files?
If so, try running File > Setup Wizard to import all of your hands and move them to the Processed folder. (Alternatively check out the Tutorial: Preventing Duplicates)

Auto Import isn't designed to handle a large number of files - it is designed to work with the files created while you're playing live.

If that isn't the situation, or that doesn't remove the problem, please enable logging and restart PT4. Reproduce the problem and then report your problem so that we can investigate further.

Thank you so much! Yes, I think there was a problem...and now I have another: I created a new HUD group but the table just shows the default HUD stats. I went thro forums where you said to change it via the PT icon on the table...but there's no PT icon on the table..i am using pokerstars. Also my ram's 1.5 gb. i hope thats not causing probs. Sorry for bothering you guys so much but i am absolutely new to all this :oops:

Did you create another HUD profile or another HUD group? A group is just an extra set of stats which can be displayed on the table (and if you have it set to For Popup Use Only it would only be displayed if you linked it to an On Table group and then clicked that group). A profile is an entirely different set of stats - and that's what you change to via the PT Icon.
