HUD not working properly on Stars

I have been using Poker Tracker3 for some time now but the new Stars software has really screwed it up.

I've been looking at the posts regarding the HUD the problems with ZOOM and have the same problems but also with SNGs - the HUD keeps resetting itself -- it is not just ZOOM that has the problems.
BTW I have updated to the latest version but the problem is still there on Stars. Other sites I use are okay.

PT3 is now useless on Stars. Are there any plans to get this sorted soon and/or is PT4 any better?

That sounds like a configuration problem - can you tell me a bit more about what you mean by "resetting itself"?

What happens is the hand count goes up correctly for a while then reverts to 1 and starts counting up again -- even my own.

If it is someone that I have encountered previously it will give total hands to begin with, then reverts to the number we started with in the current session and starts over again from that number.
I believe it is importing correctly.

I will await your advice but I have twice set the configuration to default, and this makes no difference.

There are a few reasons for that kind of behavior in configurations.

Most of them are on the Configure --> Configure Hud --> Hud Options tab. The "Stats From Current Tournament Blind Level Only" checkbox for example, if it were checked, would have the stats appear to start over at 1 each time the blinds go up (though if you played with the same people in SnGs it would give you their stats from just their blind level - it would only appear to start over if this was your first time at that level with them).

The Player Ranges area could also cause that kind of behavior if the table size changes - the Player Ranges area assures that you only see stats from the relevant stats from right size tables. For example if you had the ranges 2-2, 3-4, 5-6 and 7-10, if the table size went from 7 to 6 you would no longer see data from 7-10 handed play and instead only see data from 5-6 handed play - of which there might be none.

Thinking about it now, the reason I thought it was okay on other sites is because I was playing only cash there, and not tournaments.
