Hold on -- Leewah already submitted a support ticket, whatever happened to that?

That ticket was submitted in almost two years ago - I'm certain this issue is not the same - the behavior may be similar, but the cause has shifted.

Thanks for the reply, but unless you guys resolved that issue, I'm pretty sure it's the same. The length of time/number of releases doesn't matter if the issue was never resolved in the first place.

The major version of the software is still the same (version 3) -- only the minor version has changed since then. So unless the file detection algo was updated between 3.07 and 3.13, i highly doubt the cause is different.

So was that issue investigated/resolved? What were the findings?

Hi All,

I can confirm that wonderdog78 is correct in raising the issue of PT3 no longer auto-importing new tables (cash or tournaments).

OSX: 10.7.3
PT3: 3.13.4
PostgreSQL: 9.0.4

I have replied to my original support ticket: 94037 and attached my PT3 log file and the HH associated with a play money SnG I used for testing purposes.

Please let me know if you require any further information.

PokerStars hand histories are importing for me on Lion (and Snow Leopard) for both cash and tournaments so anyone else having problems please check the PokerStars Configuration Guide and the FAQ: Importing to PT3 before you report your problem for further investigation.

What does that even mean? Sounds like you're sweeping it under the rug again.

The problem exists as proven by 2 people in this thread. What other evidence do u want?

The auto import fails for NEW tournaments that popup while auto import is already running. This is consistent 95% of the time. Sometimes it just works but it's very rare.

If you want we can do a screencast while i'm playing and you will see what i'm talking about.

It means that we tested on our Macs and were unable to reproduce this problem so we do not believe it is a general issue.

Please click Configure --> Options and make sure Logging Enabled is checked, reproduce and report this problem so that we have your log files which will tell us exactly how your PokerTracker settings are set - then we can figure out what is causing this particular disconnect.

Hi All,

It seems that Mike has solved my problem in a strange (but nonetheless) fashion.

As I was saving my PS HH and TournSummaries to a custom directory on different drive (internal secondary) rather than the default PS drive/dir, I was advised to change my PT3 settings back to the default PS defaults and see what happened.

As it turns out, with the default dirs set in PS and PT3, the auto-import functionality worked as expected.

I then changed the dirs back to my custom dirs and low and behold, things started working again properly. If I had the auto-import function already running and fired up new tables, the HH would begin importing from the new tables and the HUD appeared as required.

I'm not sure what changing back to the defaults did but after doing so, and then changing back again to the custom dirs, all is well on my end.

Not sure if this solves wonderdog's issue but it solved mine.
