What's with default 3bet?

Postby dissie » Fri Feb 10, 2012 8:00 am

Does the PT3 stat 3bet include limping? And is this why there is created a new custom stat?

For example: UTG limps. Button raises the limper. Is that considered a 3bet in the custom 3bet stat?

I am new to PT3 so forgive me if I am ripping up in old issues. I like the PT3 graphics though!

Raising a limp is not considered a 3Bet. A 3Bet is when you raise the first raiser. This terminology originally began from Limit poker - think of the big blind as the first bet, the first raise as the second "bet" and then the second raise as the third "bet". Since a limp doesn't increase the number of bets it costs someone new to play, it doesn't increase this number.
